Commissons, Still Happening

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 20, 2008, 1:07 PM
Though Obby the 2nd is up and running, I'm still open for commissions. I've got a papal account. You can drop me a line on AIM, IrukaTheSlayer, or a note. If you know someone who would be interested but doesn't have a DA, feel free to pass the AIM screenname along, or have them email me
(A.laura.wilson@gmail.com).

Prices are Still:

$15 - Quick sketch such as

$25 and up For a quick color such as:

$40 and up for cleaned, refined and rendered:

Prices change based on the complexity of the piece you'd like me to do. If you need an exact price just describe what you are thinking of getting and I'll price it for you, no problem.

Thanks!

Commissions, the whole story.

Alright, so the deal is my friend Obby (My ipod, Obsidian Rex being his full name) has fallen. He died in the sink when I was washing my hands, falling to his death from my sweatshirt pocket. I moved as fast as a human possibly could, but to no avail. Now as he sits on my desk, flashing in and out of his ipod coma, I know I must replace him and put him out his misery.

To relive Obby of his worldly obligations, I need cash money, This is where you come in. If you need any art done I'm your gal, Let me give you an Idea of what I can do for you:

World Of Warcraft Portraits:
I used to do these in game for gold, I stopped playing a while back, but with screenshots I can still do portraits for players. 15$ for a clean sketch, 25 for quick color, 40 and up for full render.

Avatars:
If you've got a character, I can draw it. Little and cute or just an interpretation.
10 for cute, 15$ for sketch, 25 and up for color (depending on complexity)

Cardboard wall hangers:
Cartoon and game characters, acrylic on cardboard. Easy and casual, you can get it framed or tack it up on your dorm wall with good 'ol masking tape (thats what I do). 15$ and up, depending on variables, plus shipping.

Commissions

:(

My good friend Obby has died in an accident. Obby was my Ipod, and the accident involved my kitchen sink. I'm in need of cash money to replace it, so I'm probably fish around for some commissions soon. I'll actually post some examples and prices later, but if you have some sort of preemptive interest, Note me.

I want to color your line art.

Journal Entry: Wed Feb 14, 2007, 8:25 PM
Really I do.

I love coloring, and I wish I had more time to draw things that I can color. If anyone has some inks sitting around, I'd love to have a bit of line art that I could grab every now and then and try out new coloring methods on it. If your interested in a little collab, just post a link to some line art. Just keep somethings in mind:

-My breaks in school work are erratic, so don't expect anything instant.
-My coloring tends to go over, eliminate, and adjust lines sometimes.
-I don't expect a lot of response, but if I do, I don't plan to go in particular order. I just want to pick out things I like and play around.
-I most likely will post finished things in my gallery, you'll be properly credited, of course.

Anywho, if you like the sound of it, post away. I'm absolutely expecting at least one person to respond to this *glares at Babs, and the art in her sketch book she needs to scan*

Going RED

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 30, 2007, 12:33 PM
I don't know how many People have seen the JoinRed site ( [link] ), but as soon as I have a little cash I don't need for food and school, I'm probably going to buy a pair converse shoes because I think they are sweet. It made me think, wouldn't it be kinda cool If DA joined (RED) and people selling prints could dedicate a piece of art to the project? I mean, A lot of this site helps people make a buck, but maybe it could become more of a community if a lot of of those high page view artists made prints that had a common goal, maybe even a red color scheme. It could just be cool art, for a good cause.

Just pondering.
